Create Your Own Snowglobe

Our digital snowglobe software and services allow digital artists to create these snowglobes with their own, custom content—creating a new and dynamic way for artists to bring their joy-bringing work to others, whether for fun or for profit.

Various pricing options are available to allow for the affordable creation of snowglobes intended for use as anything from one-off gifts and decorations, to personalizable globes for resale, to commercial promotional devices.

Our online galleries are set up to provide a central location for the public to browse and either download available promotional globes or purchase personalizable globes being sold by artists. The galleries also allow businesses looking to create promotional globes to view the work of artists who have declared themselves to be commissionable.

A creation tutorial has been set up to guide artists, step-by-step, through the snowglobe creation process—from meeting the necessary prerequisites, to globe and content creation, to submitting the creation order.

Questions & Answers

From the point of view of the artist, how do sales in the “Personalization Gallery” work?

If your globe is submitted and accepted for inclusion in the Personalization Gallery, first we will work with you to get your gallery graphics and options set up as you would like (which is very simple), then your globe will be available for the public to submit personalization orders for. The personalization price the globe will be listed for is the sum of our going price for derivative, personal globes, plus a markup you specify. Personalization orders made from the gallery are sent to us along with the sale funds from our payment processor (currently PayPal). Once we approve the order, we e-mail the personalization specifications to you for content creation. Once you have created the personalized content, you send it to us to create the personalized build of the software, and then, via PayPal, we send you your portion of the sale funds—the markup you specified for the sale of your globes.

Can I sell personalized versions of my snowglobe from my own website?

Yes—Absolutely. Regardless of whether or not your globe is featured in our galleries, you are welcome (as far as we are concerned) to sell personalization services through other channels, so long as your activity does not conflict with our Terms of Sale or the software’s End-User License Agreement. If you do decide to independently sell personalized versions of your snowglobes, you would simply place the orders to us for the personalized versions of your globe in the same way you did for your original globe, but you would only be paying the personal globe “derivative” price.
